I recently stayed at Taigh Carnan and had a wonderful experience. The location is superb, tucked away in a quiet area near the Ness Bridge. The cottage itself is charming, with a modern interior and thoughtful touches for guests. The communication and support from the hosts were excellent. It truly is a little gem in Inverness!

The towels were so fluffy and luxurious, I felt like I was wrapped in a cloud. Definitely made up for the lackluster view from the window.

Oh, and who needs a nice view anyway, when you can have a view of the Tesco Express? So thrilling.

Convenient location close to restaurants, pubs, and the river. Comes with useful appliances like an electric kettle, dishwasher, and fridges! 😊

Plus, the parking permit provided helps alleviate any parking concerns.

The central gas heating system can be a bit difficult to manage and may require some adjustment to maintain a comfortable temperature.

The location was perfect for exploring the city center, tucked away in a secluded area that provided a quiet and secure atmosphere. The apartment was clean and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a self-catering holiday. The spacious lounge allowed for comfortable movement, and the bedrooms provided ample storage space. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean, with a powerful shower. The host, Sarah, was attentive and efficient in responding to our queries. I highly recommend this lovely home away from home.

The apartment was gorgeous - very pretty and very clean. the location, right on the Ness and adjacent to the shops and restaurants, was perfect. the kitchen was perfect to cook in after a long day and the washer/dryer was a bonus. Lovely, comfortable and nicely renovated Victorian flat in the heart of Inverness. Spotless clean. Comfortable soft beds. Ideal for 2 persons, not so sure for 4. No view from windows, but enough daylight coming in. Restaurants, shops, supermarket just a stone throw away. Easy to park on adjacent streets with the visitor's permit provided. the owners are easy to communicate with and of good help. Nice decoration, comfortable rooms, very cosy living room with large sofa and large smart TV, fast internet connection, bath towels, shampoo etc all provided. Taigh Carnan is ideally located for exploring the city centre, tucked in a secluded area so very quiet and feels secure. the place is very clean and has everything you need for a self-catering holiday. the lounge is huge, decorated in such a way that everyone can freely move around. Two good-sized bedrooms with plenty of storage space. Super comfy linens and pillows. Clean toilet and bath with a power shower and working heater. the locked shed can be used to store luggage. Sarah is very attentive and efficient in responding to queries. Highly recommend for groups of friends or family.

the apartment was absolutely beautiful , so pretty and impeccably clean. It was in the perfect location, right on the Ness and next to all the shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed being able to cook in the well, equipped kitchen after a long day of exploring. the washer/dryer was a fantastic bonus too. the hosts were friendly and helpful, providing us with lots of advice on things to do in the area. Checking in and out was a breeze, and the parking permit made finding a space quick and easy. We highly recommend Taigh Carnan , it was a truly wonderful find!

I had a very nice and comfortable stay at this Victorian flat in the heart of Inverness. The flat was spotlessly clean and the beds were soft and comfortable. Despite not having a view from the windows, there was plenty of daylight coming in. The location was perfect, as I could easily walk to restaurants, shops, and the supermarket. The owners, Sarah and Kevin, were easy to communicate with and very helpful.

That the central gas heating system was a bit difficult to manage, and it got quite cold when it went off. However, the owners provided electric heating fans to compensate.
